Every player longs for more control at the poker table, and with EV Chop, you will have just that! Poker can often be a game of swings, and we have all been on the end of a bad beat from time to time. Our EV Chop feature will combat variance with all-in players now offered the chance to take their share of the pot in relation to their hand’s equity!
All-in Protection!
Here’s how our new EV Chop feature works!
· If EV Chop function is activated, all-in players are given a chance to claim a proportion of the pot according to their equity share.
· If a player chooses to EV Chop, they will claim their equity share of the pot, and will not receive any extra percentage of the pot.
· If the all-in player declines the EV Chop the hand continues as standard.
· If every all-in player chooses to EV Chop, the hand will end. However, the cards are still dealt, and the result will not affect the players’ pot return. Players who decide to EV Chop can take the pot immediately according to their equity.
· In a heads-up hand, if the all-in player accepts the EV Chop, they will receive their equity in chips. The other player will still be eligible to win 100% of the pot (excluding fee), and the community will be dealt as standard. If the player wins, they receive 100% of the pot (excluding fee) from the Club Owner.
Example: Player 1 is all-in for 5,000 chips and Player 2 calls off a 10,000 stack.
Player 1 holds Ace-King off-suit, and Player 2 holds Pocket Jacks.
Player 1 can accept the preflop EV Chop and take their equity share of the pot.
If Player 1 accepts, the community cards are dealt, and if Player 2 holds the winning hand, the pot (minus fees) is covered by the Club Owner.
